Taxes, Duties and Customs Information

Prices and checkout
Lifestyle Travel Trading displays prices and calculates applicable taxes according to the customer’s selected market, delivery destination and checkout information. The order summary shown before payment is the authoritative statement of the amounts charged by Lifestyle Travel Trading for that order.
Prices are normally displayed in the currency selected for the market or shown by Shopify. Currency conversion and final settlement amounts may also be affected by the customer’s bank, card provider or payment service.
Australian orders
For Australian orders, GST treatment is shown in Shopify checkout and on the order confirmation or tax documentation where applicable. Customers should review the checkout total before placing the order.
International orders
International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, GST, sales tax, customs charges, brokerage or carrier-handling fees imposed by the destination country or delivery provider.
Unless Shopify checkout expressly shows that a duty, tax or charge has been collected by Lifestyle Travel Trading, it is not included in the product price or shipping charge and may be payable by the recipient before or after delivery.
Customs processing
Customs authorities may inspect, hold, delay, reject or return a shipment. They may also request identification, proof of purchase, tax information or another document from the recipient. Lifestyle Travel Trading does not control customs decisions or the amount of charges imposed by governments, customs authorities, carriers or brokers.
We will provide available order or shipping information where reasonably required, but customers are responsible for complying with lawful import requirements applying at the destination.
Refused or unpaid charges
If a customer refuses delivery or does not pay a required import or customs charge, the parcel may be abandoned, destroyed or returned. Any refund or redelivery will be assessed after the shipment outcome and recoverable costs are known, subject to the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable consumer law.
