Terms of service

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (Terms) apply when you visit lifestyletraveltrading.com.au, create an account, communicate with us, use our online services or purchase products from Lifestyle Travel Trading (LTT, we, us or our).

By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies referred to in them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

These Terms must be read with our Privacy Policy, Refund, Returns and Exchanges Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and any product-specific or promotional terms shown before purchase. If there is an inconsistency, mandatory law applies first, followed by any specific terms disclosed for the relevant product or promotion, then these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. About our store

Lifestyle Travel Trading is an Australia-based, owner-operated online retailer of lifestyle, travel and related products. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform, checkout and associated store services.

Some products are supplied or fulfilled by third-party suppliers and may be dispatched separately or from different locations. LTT remains the retailer responsible for your order and your statutory consumer rights.

3. Eligibility and lawful use

You must be legally capable of entering a contract to place an order. If you are under 18, you should use the store only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian.

You must not use the website or services:

  • for an unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
  • to infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • to submit false, misleading, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful material;
  • to introduce malicious code or interfere with the website, checkout, security or another user's access;
  • to scrape, harvest or collect information through automated means without our written permission; or
  • to impersonate another person or use payment or account information without authority.

We may reasonably restrict or suspend access where necessary to protect customers, the store, our rights or legal compliance. This does not affect rights arising from an existing order.

4. Product information

We aim to provide clear, accurate and current product titles, descriptions, composition or material information, measurements, size charts, images, colours, variants, features, prices and estimated delivery information.

Product information can originate from suppliers and is reviewed and adapted by LTT. Actual colours and appearance can vary because of lighting, photography, screen settings and production batches. Measurements may have a stated tolerance. Supplier sizing can vary, so use the size chart and measuring guidance displayed for the exact product rather than relying only on a usual size.

Where a product choice depends on measurements, orientation, compatibility, personalisation or another technical detail, you are responsible for supplying accurate information and selecting the option confirmed on the product page. Contact us before ordering if anything is unclear. We will not guess or make an unsupported suitability claim.

We correct material errors when identified. Nothing in this section limits obligations concerning accurate descriptions, express representations, acceptable quality or fitness for a disclosed purpose under applicable law.

5. Availability and product status

Products and variants are subject to availability. An item appearing on the website or in a cart does not guarantee stock until we accept the order.

Products may be active, unlisted, unavailable, discontinued or removed from sale. If some variants remain available, the product may remain active while unavailable variants are shown as sold out. Archived product records may be retained where reasonably required for order history, customer support, accounting or legal purposes.

If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate option, which may include an available alternative, waiting where supply is expected, or cancellation and refund of the affected amount. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

6. Prices, taxes and other charges

Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices displayed for Australian customers are in Australian dollars (AUD). Applicable taxes, discounts and delivery charges are shown at the relevant stage of checkout. International customers may see localised pricing or incur foreign-exchange fees, import duties, taxes or charges imposed outside LTT's control.

We may change advertised prices prospectively. A price change does not alter an order we have already accepted, except where the displayed price was an obvious error and the law permits correction.

If a material pricing, discount or product error affects an order, we may contact you before fulfilment to explain the issue and ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel. If we cancel, we will refund the affected amount using the original payment method where reasonably possible. We will not charge a higher price without your agreement.

7. Promotions, discounts and offers

Promotions, automatic discounts, discount codes, subscriber offers, back-in-stock offers, loyalty benefits, gift cards and store credit may have separate eligibility, product, customer, quantity, combination and expiry conditions.

Unless the offer says otherwise:

  • only one discount may apply to the same item or order;
  • discounts cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • an offer applies only during its stated period and while eligible products are available;
  • returns are based on the amount actually paid, subject to the Refund, Returns and Exchanges Policy and Australian Consumer Law; and
  • misuse, duplication, resale or fraudulent use may result in the offer being refused or withdrawn.

We may correct an offer configured or published in error, but we will communicate fairly and honour any rights that have already arisen under applicable law.

8. Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to purchase the items shown at checkout. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.

We accept an order when we confirm acceptance, begin fulfilment or dispatch the product, whichever occurs first. Different items in one order may be accepted and dispatched separately.

We may reasonably refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example:

  • payment is not authorised or fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected;
  • the product or selected variant is unavailable;
  • delivery cannot be made to the supplied address or destination;
  • a material product, price, tax, discount or website error occurred;
  • an order exceeds a disclosed or reasonable purchase limit; or
  • accepting the order would breach law or a platform, sanctions or safety requirement.

If we cancel after taking payment, we will notify you and refund the affected amount. We will not refuse service for an unlawful discriminatory reason.

9. Payment

Payment is processed through the methods offered at checkout. You authorise the relevant payment provider to charge the order total and confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen method.

Payment providers, banks or card issuers may apply their own terms, verification, foreign-exchange charges or processing times. LTT does not receive or store full payment-card details where payment is processed by Shopify or another authorised provider.

An order may be delayed or cancelled if payment is declined, reversed, disputed or subject to verification. Contact us promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect. Fraudulent chargebacks or payment misuse may be reported or contested using relevant order evidence.

10. Changes and cancellations requested by you

Contact info@lifestyletraveltrading.com.au immediately if you need to correct or cancel an order. Include the order number and the email address used at checkout.

We will try to assist, but changes or cancellation cannot be guaranteed after processing, personalisation or fulfilment has begun. If an order cannot be cancelled, you may be able to request a return after delivery if it is eligible under our Refund, Returns and Exchanges Policy.

Customised or personalised goods may begin production shortly after ordering and generally cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind once production has started. This does not limit rights concerning faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-compliant goods.

11. Shipping and delivery

Processing periods, estimated delivery windows, available destinations, tracking, split shipments, address requirements, customs and delay procedures are governed by our Shipping and Delivery Policy and the information shown on the relevant product page.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Delays can occur because of availability, customs, peak periods, adverse weather, carrier disruption or other circumstances. We will provide reasonable assistance and comply with applicable consumer guarantees, including the requirement to supply within an agreed or reasonable time.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for responding promptly to reasonable carrier or customs requests. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address or an uncollected delivery may be passed on only where lawful and reasonably incurred.

Risk in physical goods passes on delivery to you or a person authorised to receive them. Legal title passes when payment is received in full, subject to applicable law.

12. Returns, refunds, exchanges and consumer guarantees

Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by our Refund, Returns and Exchanges Policy. That policy distinguishes discretionary change-of-mind returns from remedies required by law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also be entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change-of-mind exclusions for intimate wear, hygiene-sensitive products, personalised or customised goods, final-sale items or other identified products do not remove rights relating to products that are faulty, unsafe, damaged, incorrectly supplied, materially different from their description or otherwise fail a statutory consumer guarantee.

We may reasonably request an order number, description and photographs or video to assess a claim. Evidence requirements will not be applied in a way that unlawfully prevents a consumer remedy. Do not return an item until return instructions are provided.

13. Customer accounts

You are responsible for keeping account information accurate and maintaining the confidentiality of access credentials. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

We may restrict or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risk, abusive behaviour, unlawful activity or serious breach of these Terms. Closing an account does not remove accrued legal rights or valid obligations relating to an existing order.

Customer order history may include limited information for discontinued or archived products. A deleted product record may no longer display its original image or live product page, but the underlying order record remains subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.

14. Customer communications, chat and AI assistance

Shopify Inbox and other customer-service channels may provide order lookup, product information, recommendations, automated answers and human hand-off.

AI-assisted or automated responses are provided for guidance and can be incomplete or incorrect. They do not vary these Terms or our published policies and cannot approve refunds, returns, compensation, policy exceptions or other commercial decisions. Material decisions require review by an authorised person.

Do not send passwords or full payment-card details by chat or email. Communications may be retained and processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Reviews, feedback and submitted content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, message, competition entry or other content, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant LTT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt and display it for operating, promoting and improving LTT, subject to our Privacy Policy and any specific consent or platform setting. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies reasonably retained in backups, completed marketing materials, legal records or where continued use is otherwise permitted by law.

We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant, misleading or infringes rights. We do not suppress genuine reviews merely because they are critical.

16. Intellectual property

The website, LTT branding, layout, original text, graphics and other LTT-created material are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may access and use the website for personal shopping and customer-service purposes. You must not reproduce, commercially exploit, republish or create derivative works from protected material without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party product names, trademarks, images and content remain the property of their respective owners.

17. Third-party services and links

The store uses Shopify and may integrate payment, fulfilment, delivery, review, analytics, advertising, social-media, messaging and other providers. A link or integration does not make LTT responsible for an unrelated third-party website, product or service.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Review them before using the service. This section does not remove LTT's responsibility as retailer for products sold by LTT or any non-excludable obligation under law.

18. Service availability and security

We take reasonable steps to keep the website available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, platform changes, network failures, cyber incidents or circumstances outside reasonable control may interrupt access.

We may suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or protection of customers. We will not use this provision to avoid obligations relating to accepted orders.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LTT is not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, was caused by your unlawful or negligent act, arose from inaccurate information you supplied, or resulted from an independent third-party service outside LTT's reasonable control.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, it is limited to the extent that is fair and reasonable in the circumstances. This clause does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, breach of a non-excludable consumer guarantee, or another liability that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Events outside reasonable control

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control, except for payment obligations already due and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. This may include natural disasters, extreme weather, war, civil disturbance, government action, epidemic, industrial disruption, transport interruption, cyberattack or widespread platform failure.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and resume performance. If supply cannot occur within the agreed or a reasonable time, applicable cancellation, refund and consumer-guarantee rights remain available.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, our services, technology or business practices. The current version and last-updated date will be published on this page.

Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights that arose under an order already accepted. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

22. Severability and no waiver

If part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue to apply.

A failure or delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of that right.

23. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws. Courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Queensland may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory right you have to bring a claim elsewhere.

Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. This does not prevent you from contacting a consumer-protection body, regulator, tribunal or court or exercising another legal right.
